Season’s Greetings, Dear Crochet Friend,
Christmas has always been my favourite time of year. So much so that many of my family and friends lovingly call me Mrs Claus—a title I wear with pride! While the magic has softened a little since my children have grown into the amazing young adults they are today, I still carry Christmas carols in my head and holiday spirit in my heart.
If I could share just a little of that festive joy with you, wrapped up with love and yarn, then this is my way of doing so.
Through my passion for crochet and creating, I designed this playful project: the "Snowy in a Tangle Christmas Wreath". I hope it brings you as much joy to make as it brought me to design. May it hang happily on your wall or door, soaking up all those magical moments we call Christmas.
And as the Disney song goes... “Do you wanna build a snowman?”

P.S. “Snowy in a Tangle” was inspired by the many years I’ve spent untangling our Christmas lights—only to end up a little twisted in them myself (I know you know what I mean!). Now it’s Snowy’s turn to get tangled—and help decorate your home while doing so. Let’s get wrapped up in the fun together!
Materials Required:
3 x 50g/125m balls of Cotton in your choice of colour to cover the foam ring (I used Scheepjes Catona Cotton).
1 x 50g/125m ball of White
1 each x 10g/25m balls in the following colours - Christmas Red, Yellow, Christmas Green, Blue, Dark Grey. (I used Scheepjes Catona Minis)
Approx. 30cm of Orange cotton for the nose.
Small amount of wadding to stuff your snowman and lights.
A pair of 5mm safety eyes
2.5mm and 3mm Crochet Hooks.
Scissors
Stitch Markers, Yarn Needle, Pins
Row Counter
Foam Wreath 40cm in Diameter (outer edge to outer edge)
Skill Level - Intermediate Beginner (You need to have a solid knowledge of most crochet stitches and be a able to read a pattern.) Hand sewing skills are also required.
