Sizing: Small/Medium/Large
Tools Required: 5.5mm Crochet Hook for 10ply yarn, Scissors, Yarn Needle, ST Markers.
Pattern Construction:
This beanie is worked from the band up in one piece. The only sewing required is to close the top.
Yarn Requirements:
This beanie is made with 10ply yarn, but will work with some 8ply yarns that are a little thicker than usual.
I’ve used Adagio Mills 8ply yarn. 80% Merino & 20% Alpaca. Each ball contains 100g / 190m. I used the colour Steel. 100g for Small, 120g for Medium, 150g Large.
I have also made this beanie using Fiddlesticks Superb Tweed Acrylic yarn. 1 to 2 x 100g / 200m balls of 10ply Yarn required depending on the size. (I used 1 ball of Fiddlesticks Superb Tweed for the small size)
The multi coloured sample on the last page was made using Patons Sierra yarn. An 8ply yarn that is 80% acrylic and 20% wool. I used 1 x 150g / 375m (There was still yarn left over for all sizes)
