Welcome to my Get to Gnome Me pattern!
This delightful little gnome is perfect for any occasion—a fun, whimsical character you can style to suit any person, season, décor or celebration. As you crochet, you’ll “get to gnome” your creation, adding your own personality, flair, and creativity.
Give your gnome a beard, go beardless, or add some plaits for a more feminine look. Decorate the hat, swap out the candy cane for flowers, and let your imagination run wild. Most importantly—have fun, enjoy the process, and fill your gnome with love.

📏 Finished Size: Varies depending on yarn and hook used.
📐 Gauge: No specific gauge required, but aim for firm stitches suitable for amigurumi to prevent stuffing from showing.

Crochet Hook:
3mm for 8ply
4mm for 10ply
(or suitable size for your chosen yarn)

Wadding for stuffing
Florist wire or pipe cleaner (approx. 30–35cm) for candy cane
2 small organza bags (approx. 7.6cm x 10cm)
1 medium organza bag (approx. 12.5cm x 18.5cm)
Rice or small fish tank gravel for filling the boots and base
🧶 Recommended Yarn:
Any ply yarn will work, but cotton is recommended for a sturdy, clean finish.
I used Fiddlesticks Finch 10ply Cotton – 71g / 119m per ball.
Yarn Colours:
C1 – 6211 Red: boots, hands, hat & candy cane – 1 ball
C2 – 6203 Jute: skin tone & candy cane – 1 ball
C3 – 6242 Mint: trims, twirls & decorations – 1 ball
C4 – 6201 White: beard (optional) – 1 ball
